    One of the major research-related activities in these departments is to enroll the members from their departments to do PhD. The Management of SVCE provides fund to each and every department to support their research initiatives. The funds cater the department in the purchase of equipments, and consumables, provide financial assistance for faculty members to attend research seminars, national and international conferences and workshops, give full salary support up to one year for faculty members to take time-off to finish PhD course work, and similarly, full salary support up to one year to do post-doctoral work in an another institution. Furthermore, SVCE provides one year sabbatical leave with salary to experienced researchers to be involved in collaborative research activities.
