Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) started in 1985 is approved by All India Council for Technical (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated to Anna University of Technology Chennai. SVCE is accredited by NBA and by NAAC.
For the past 25 years, SVCE has been one of the top self-financing engineering colleges in the State. SVCE is recognized for providing exceptional engineering education and promoting research to a diverse cross section of the society and in the process helping our learners to reach their career goals.
Our faculty . an ideal combination of youth and experience . are highly skilled practitioners and researchers and are very committed to our learners. education and erudition.
SVCE has a vivacious and proactive research community, complemented by state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. The students and faculty are essential elements of the greatly active research society, which fortifies the research reputation of this College. We encourage and sponsor faculty through incentives to acquire higher degrees, to publish text books or papers and to participate in seminars, workshops and conferences. Faculty or students, the College takes care of all the expenses for their overseas trips to present papers in international conferences.
Ample opportunities are provided to students to participate and excel in sports by means of incentives and provision of well-maintained courts and grounds. Over the years, our students have won several laurels in tack and field events, in national and inter national levels.
The Placement and Training Cell, in collaboration with the industry, has been providing first-rate training in aptitude and soft skills and exposure to the needs of the industry. As a result, the College has been maintaining an excellent placement record of 100% every year. A large number of our students opt for higher studies and get admissions in Universities in US, Australia, UK, Germany etc. A sizable numbers also go to top Indian and international B Schools.
SVCE is proud of its alumni and they are our ambassadors. Though spread over the globe, they are integral part of our College and involve themselves in wholeheartedly through several schemes for the benefits of their juniors.
